Material & quality
Genuine 925 sterling silver, which means 92.5% pure silver. Every piece carries a 925 hallmark. Our gold-colored models are 925 silver with 18K gold plating. Lou Lava, Lou Lapis and Billie also feature lava stone, lapis lazuli or onyx. The exceptions are accessories such as the leather cardholder and the silver polishing cloth. More about our materials
Everything is designed in Copenhagen. Cuffs and rings are handmade by experienced craftspeople in Bali. Chains, chain bracelets and the Parker, Billie and Cross necklaces are made in Italy. The origin is listed on every product under Details & dimensions.
Our cuffs and rings have an anti-tarnish treatment. Our silver chains and chain bracelets are rhodium-plated, meaning coated with a thin layer of rhodium. Both make the silver tarnish much more slowly. With real silver, it can't be prevented completely.
Yes, over time. Silver reacts with air, moisture, sweat, perfume and creams, even when you're not wearing it. It's a natural patina, not a defect. Polish cuffs and rings with the silver polishing cloth; clean rhodium-plated chains with a soft, dry cloth.
We recommend taking it off for these, as well as in the sauna and when you sleep. Water, chlorine, salt water, soap and sweat attack silver and especially the gold plating. It's best to take rings off when washing your hands too.
The silver version is genuine sterling silver. On the gold version, the silver is plated with 18 carat gold, 1 micron on our current models. The plating wears with friction over time, faster or slower depending on how you wear it. Clean it only with a soft, dry cloth.
Most people tolerate sterling silver well, but skin reactions are individual. If you're very sensitive, message us before you buy and we'll gladly advise you.
Yes. Silver is a relatively soft precious metal, and polished surfaces in particular show fine scratches in everyday wear. You can soften light marks on cuffs and rings with the silver polishing cloth, and a jeweler can polish the piece professionally.
Not at the moment. Because our jewelry is genuine 925 silver, a jeweler or engraver near you can usually engrave it. Show them the piece first so they can judge what's possible on your model.

Our cuffs are open and adjustable, for wrists of approx. 6.7–7.9 in around. You gently adjust the cuff to your wrist once. If your wrist is outside this range, message us first.
Slide it on sideways over the narrowest part of your wrist and turn it so the opening sits on the inside. To adjust, take it off and gently press it together in small steps, or open it slightly. Then leave it that way: bending it open and closed again and again weakens the silver.
Chain bracelets are 7.5 in long with a 0.8 in extension; most necklaces are 21.7 in with a 2 in extension. The Cross Necklace is 19.7 in with a 2 in extension. Exact dimensions are listed on every product.

Our ring size equals the circumference of your finger in millimeters. Our ring size guide shows you how to measure it. You'll see which sizes are available on the product page.
A custom length is possible on some necklaces for a surcharge. Message us first and we'll check the product you want. Custom-fitted pieces can't be returned or exchanged.

Yes, as long as it hasn't left our warehouse. We pack quickly, so message us as soon as possible with your order number at support@cuffcph.de. If the package is already on its way, you can return it within 30 days of delivery.
First check that you've entered the code exactly as you received it. One discount code applies per order. Codes can't be combined with each other or with a gift offer. If it still doesn't work, send us a screenshot.
We send it right after your purchase to the email address you used at checkout. Please check your spam folder too. If it's not there, message us with your name and we'll find your order.

For bestsellers, usually within a few weeks. We can't give a fixed date for handmade pieces. Sign up on the product page and you'll get an email as soon as it's back.

Shipping is free on orders from $150; below that it's $15. Orders ship from Europe and arrive in 5–7 business days – duties and taxes included.
Orders ship from Europe within 1–2 business days. Delivery to the US usually takes 5–7 business days. Weekend orders ship from Monday.
Yes. We ship to the US from Europe with delivery in 5–7 business days – duties and taxes included, so there's nothing to pay on delivery. Free shipping on orders from $150.
Not within the EU. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, such as Switzerland or Norway, customs duties and import taxes may apply. These are charged by the local authorities.
It can take one or two business days for the carrier to register your parcel. If the number still doesn't work after that, message us and we'll find out where it is.
Get in touch as soon as possible with your order number. As long as the parcel is still with us, we'll change the address. Please give your name as it appears on your door or letterbox.
Please check with your neighbours and your safe place first. If you can't find it, message us and we'll sort it out with the carrier.
Returns & exchanges
30 days from the day you received your parcel.
You can try it on as you would in a shop. It must come back unworn and as new: no scratches, not bent, no signs of wear. If a piece has been used beyond that, we may reduce or refuse the refund.

We usually process your return within 5 business days of receiving it and refund via your original payment method. When the money reaches you then depends on your bank or PayPal.
Yes. If you keep only one piece from a set, we charge it at the single-item price.
Until the parcel reaches us, the risk lies with the sender. So pack the jewelry securely and keep your proof of postage.
Gifts & offers
Our cuffs are adjustable, which makes them the safest gift. If something still doesn't fit, it can be exchanged within 30 days as long as it's unworn. For rings, our size guide helps, or message us beforehand.
Yes, the CUFF gift card is available from $50 to $500. A good choice if you're unsure about size or style.
Our gift offers run for a limited time from a minimum order value. You'll see what's currently on in the banner and in your cart. Important: choose your gift in the cart – only then will it be shipped with your order.

Complaints & repairs
We're sorry about that. Please send photos of the piece and the parcel within 48 hours to support@cuffcph.de, with your order number. If you notice the damage later, get in touch anyway.
The statutory 2-year guarantee applies to defects in materials and workmanship. Normal signs of wear such as scratches, tarnishing, worn plating or damage from bending and knocks are not covered. We assess whether there is a defect from photos and, if needed, the piece itself.
Send us photos and we'll look at every case. If a cuff is often bent wide open and closed again, the silver can fatigue and break, usually in the middle. This is normally not a manufacturing defect. That's why: adjust it once and put it on from the side.
Send us photos of the spot and the whole piece with your order number. We'll check whether we repair or replace it. Please don't wear the piece until then.
